Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Zanussi Refrigerator.
Proper Installation
Ensure the appliance is not installed close to heat sources such as radiators or boilers. Place it in a cool, well-ventilated room, and make sure the air openings are not obstructed.
Energy Saving Tips
Avoid keeping the refrigerator door open for long periods or opening it frequently to minimize warm air entering the cabinet. Place warm food only after it has cooled down to room temperature.
Regular Maintenance
Switch off and unplug the appliance before performing any cleaning or maintenance. Dust the condenser and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush or vacuum cleaner once or twice a year.
Defrosting
The refrigerator automatically defrosts when the compressor stops. Periodically clean the water discharge hole to prevent overflow. Use the defrost cleaner provided to clean the discharge hole.
Internal and External Cleaning
Wash the inside with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda. Do not use soap or detergent. Dry thoroughly. For the exterior, a damp cloth will suffice.
